uhhh no offense to anyone who would actually...want to do this, but unless someone has a spectacularly interesting medical condition that could result in Scarlet and Luis locking them up and poking them with sticks, RPing out a physical sounds about as interesting as watching paint dry.
I say it's safe to handwave those, unless you've... got weird medical conditions. We could always do up a medical checklist, too.
Medical checklist would probably be a good idea, no matter what. There ARE some people on the ship who have interesting physiologies, but I think that could easily be covered under an ooc checklist.
I do like the checklist idea. It's also IC for Luis to be keeping a record of these kind of things FOR DUBIOUS PURPOSES.
For the record, Scarlet will be doing all the hands on work while Luis stands back and fiddles with a scanner to make sure you don't have any goddamn parasitic zombie virus bullshit.
A thorough examination of all pages and the cover for wear and tear, leather polish for the cover, and every couple of years you get a paper-protection treatment.
Alternatively turn into a hot chick and have Hayate do it.
Considering the Sacred Tome has infinite pages, that's one hell of a long examination. Good deal on the treatment though!
Sadly, Zetta can't turn into a girl; there is no power in the cosmos strong enough to remove, alter, or compromise the badass tones of Crispin Freeman.

She will probably try to do the same for the psych evals, but I suspect it won't work.
