The first thing Hayate did as soon as she was spat out by GLaDOS was to rush back to where Zwei had been so kind to set her up in the WITCH Bus.  Of course, being the WITCH Bus, it wasn't the easiest place to get around in, especially after a long absense.  She wandered in and out rooms and halls trying to find her place

She felt the familiar tingle of magic in the back of her mind shortly before she got the mental summons - the sort of thing she'd never miss. And Nanoha tore out of her office, flying through the air above the city as fast as she could, headed for the WITCH bus. She'd missed Hayate fiercely - but more to the point, she also had something important to tell her.

"Hayate! Hayate-chan!"

"Heh, well~ Which is it? 'Hayate-chan?' Or jus' 'Hayate?' "

Hayate began contemplating whether she could get the WITCH Bus to imagine her up a very nice bath.

"It's both! That's not important!" The mage touched down outside the bus, heading for the door... and giving a very polite knock on the door before opening it.

"Hayate-chan, I have some really great news!" That was said aloud, not telepathically, as she bounded up the steps into the WITCH bus.

"Oh yeah? Well, what is it?" And then she heard the rapping on her door.

"My my~ You're bein' quick. It's open!"

Rein certainly didn't need a message to notice, not the way she'd been dwelling on the feeling of absence her master's internment had caused the entire time. The only thing that saved Hayate from getting ambush-hugged straight out of transfer was the unnavigable spatial terrain of the WITCH bus, which forced Rein to slow down and actually fly.

...and considerations for the other residents kept her sub-sonic, though anyone actually wandering in the halls still risked the rather terrifying experience of being buzzed in close quarters by Rein in her black-winged black-armored angel of death getup.

She was in such a hurry, in fact, that she declined, horror of horrors, to knock before letting herself into Hayate's room and zooming forward to hug her.

Hayate certainly didn't mind. Indeed, she was thrilled, bouncing up on her bed 'til she was sitting up. "Rein~!"

Up, and then back down again as Rein more-or-less tackled her, though flight magic took the edge off the collision; actually tackling Hayate would have been unthinkable. But still. She wanted to feel Hayate in her arms, and for once she wasn't in the mood to stand about waffling about how to go about it.

"I missed you." She said. Probably completely unnecessarily.

"Eeep!"

Her eyelashes fluttered as she blinked, stirred up as a spiral beneath her unexpectedly forward knight. "Me too."

This time, at least, Signum keeps her usual restraint and lets Reinforce do the glomping. Someone here has to maintain a sense of propriety, after all. She still arrives to welcome Hayate back rather quickly, and with an uncharacteristic smile.

"Welcome home," she says simply, when she finds her Master.

Alternatively, does Signum let Hayate do the glomping~? Because she's flying right at her~ "Signum~!"

That, however, is perfectly acceptable. Though still slightly startling.

After a second or two of being stunned, Signum returns the embrace happily. "It's good to see you made it back intact," she says, consigning her previous worry to a thing of the past. "A couple of things happened while you were gone..."

Hi there Signum's tits. You're kind of at hug height. Though Hayate isn't burying herself in them or anything.

She looks up her knight. "Nanoha and Fate are getting married, and?"

It had taken a little longer for Fate to reach Hayate after the telepathic message was sent out; by the time she arrived, the brunette was probably all filled in on the recent happenings on the ship.

She'd never been inside the WITCH Bus, but that didn't stop her. She boarded it, looking around for any sign of her friend.

"Hayate?"

"Fate-chaaaan?" She brightly telepathized back. "Hold up, this place is a bit confusin'; where are ya? I'll come lookin' for ya."

"Not far from the entrance," She replied, her laugh apparent even through the mental link. "Don't worry, I won't move an inch; I have no idea how to make my way around this place, so I don't want to get lost."

Ah-hah! But Hayate snuck out the side and tried to come from behind with a hug~~!
