Arhu wandered into the Obs Deck and found a relatively quiet space, sitting down and wrapping his tail neatly around his feet. Looking out the viewport at space travelling by them - only it wasn't space, it was that thing called the Bleed - he half-closed his eyes, all the better to see and be seen by the immaterial. She should have expected to find him on the observation deck. She trotted closer and settled down nearby, flicking her tail as she watched him. Arhu might be able to See something she'd missed - the Eye was useful for that sort of thing, and Rhiow didn't want to interrupt him.

Then he looked over at Rhiow and sat down, beginning a quick bout of annoyed composure-grooming. Once that was taken care of, he muttered, "'Luck, Rhiow."

She curled her tail around her feet and looked out into the Bleed, watching the multicolored lights stream by the ship. "I take it you haven't been able to make heads or tails of it yet."

Obs Deck... she'd been here before, but it couldn't hurt to look around again. And so she did, and what she found was surprising. A tiny cat, sitting in a somewhat odd pose. She approached, bending over slightly to get a closer look at it.

Finally he sat up, tail lashing, and then peered up at the ehhif queen who was looking at him. "What?"

She'd seen a lot of very strange things and heard things talk that certainly shouldn't, but she really hadn't expected that. "Oh, I'm sorry," she said. "I assumed you were someone's pet..."

Of course, Rhiow wasn't either, but she did live with an ehhif. He did too, and sometimes Abha'd seemed to think that he was Arhu's now, but he wasn't close to the ehhif. And he didn't want to be, either.
Still, in utter dismissal of the sheer idea, he sat down and stuck his right leg over his shoulder before leaning down to wash.
