It was night on the ship - or at least as close to night as the ship ever got.
But while most of the crew slept, something
had been released from within the ship. Something invisible, something undetectable, and something very, very dangerous.
If you passed through parts of the City, you might start to feel a little sick...

"Are you alright, sweetie? You look pretty flushed." And felt pretty flushed.

Her apology was cut off when the little girl scrambled to the side of the bed, and vomited on Claire's shoes. Hope you didn't like those, Claire.

"Oh, yeah. You're totally fine." Claire grimaced, standing up and grabbing a nearby trashbin and setting it in Sherry's lap, before kicking off her ruined shoes and tiptoeing around the sick to get something to clean it up with. She got rid of it quickly, dumping her shoes into another bin, and grabbed her other pair of sneakers out from under her bed.
"Okay, c'mon. We're going down to medical to see what's going on." Because it seemed kind of unusual that a flu virus would just spring up out of nowhere. Claire wasn't a scientist by any means, but she was kind of an expert on how viruses happened.

And that meant he'd been more alone.
For some reason, today the world seemed brighter- a little dizzier, somehow, like lights flickering. It was always warm on board, but today the weather was even hotter- he felt like he could do anything!
So, naturally, he took off running, and after a brief start, managed to get to the air, careening wildly as his balance took the main burden from his fever. He wasn't going to crash- he wasn't afraid!
....but that's not what it looks like from the ground.

Let's see how fast we can ruin her good mood shall we?
A sudden shadow on the ground awakened the Dragon hunter training and she scanned the skies automatically for a death threat from above. Then she spotted the strange winged creature that didn't resemble any dragon and was forced to remember the only two dragons on board were Kang and Toothless.
As far as she knew anyway.
Wait, was that thing a kid?
Wait was it coming in for a crash landing?
Another instinct kicked in and before Ruffnut could stop herself she was scrambling to catch the thing, whatever it was.

Seems like someone saw it, anyways. The way Ruffnut scrambled below him like an anxious hen, trying to....to catch him?
He didn't need catching!
He was fine!
He was fine, dammit! Why didn't anyone ever believe him?!
Komali decided that if the girl wanted to catch him, he's let, her, as heavily and painfully as possible. That would show her.

...oh crap it's falling! Ruffnut tripped and stumbled herself as she tried to position herself to catch it safely.

"Nanashi...?"

She swept over to him, touching his cheek and then his forehead and frowned, "oh, you're burning up little one, what's bothering you?"

His mind raced as he tried to figure out what it could be. Had he picked up something in Hydroponics, or some slow-acting virus on Zokez II? Had someone podpopped with the flu and it was just now making the rounds?

She'd come back from her stint with Evangeline to rest a little, and found that her body seemed to be delaying in its usual reaction: it was as if there was some block on her disallowing the usual functioning of activities for her. The last conclusion she was going to go for, of course, was being sick: whoever HEARD of such a thing, a demon getting sick?
Nonetheless, she was beginning to feel steadily worse, and the idea of staying in the city seemed like less of an option to her. She felt a shortness of breath and a rising heat infecting her body. Ignoring it wasn't making it go away either.
With a frustrated sigh, she roused herself, then turned to the back of her, hearing the questioning squabbles of her creatures.
I'll be back. Protect this place. I have to find out what oddity is causing this. Do not venture out.
She staggered out of the factory, unwillingly leaving her Silent Hill. There had to be an answer for this.

Today, he ended up in Hydroponics. He sat down by one of the trees, head back and looking up. He hardly noticed the sweat on his face, unusual because he didn't generally sweat much. There's bloody well gotta be a cool spot or two on this damn ship...
