Tannar stood waiting, a bit impatiently at that at the flower shop a few shops down from Torrent, he was late but he did want to be the first one there. The poor older lady that was working the shop was obviously stressed, that kept him from urging her speed along. He smiled and tipped her generously once she had finally wrapped up the flowers for Amara.

He hadn't realized he was nervous about seeing her until this afternoon, he knew he was looking forward to it greatly. He walked into Torrent and spotted her in a booth, he fixed his white button down shirt and ran a hand through his hair before approaching her, when she finally looked up he smiled, realizing he hadn't remembered her beauty correctly.

"Hello Amara." His voice was rich, deep and very happy sounding, he held out the flowers, to her as he leaned down and kissed her cheek, a smile still on his lips as he did so.

Amara's lips spread into a wide smile as she took the flowers from him, turning herself so she could fully look at him. As soon as his lips brushed gently against her cheek she inwardly bounced up and down, the attraction was definitely there still, she thought as she tried to stop the shiver running down her spine.

Standing up she returned the kiss, gently placing her lips against his smooth cheek before pulling back, her eyes sparkling happily. "Tanner." Her voice was low and smooth as she sat back down. "I'm kind of impressed that we actually managed to do this.

God, he looked good. And he smelled good. And he felt good. Closing her eyes as she took a moment to compose herself, she wondered how could she have possibly been lucky enough to find this man on her very first night out in Seattle. "I haven't ordered anything yet. I was hoping you'd know whats good here." She flashed him a smile as she motioned for him to sit down.

His hand went to the small of her back, pressing softly as she drew nearer to him. He smiled at her return of a kiss and then waited until she settled back into the booth before seating himself. He set an elbow on the table and then ran his hand through his hair and looked sheepish, "I'm surprised as well, you're a very busy girl."

He then went on to admit that he spent a lot of time at Torrent and even pointed out the table he usually found himself occupying, giving her a surprised glance he asked, "Have you never been here?"

She tilted her head and bit her lip to stop herself smiling. "Busy is an understatement. Still, I'm more than happy to make time for my new friend."

Listening intently as he explained his love for the coffee shop, Amara's smile only brightened more. "I've been here once or twice, it's not my usual stomping ground but the coffee is definitely delicious." She ran a hand through her hair as she laughed. "But as for the food, well, clearly that's your thing."

Amara leaned forward towards Tanner, acutely aware of the vintage view point Tanner had of her chest. "So Mr. Regular, what would you recommend?"
