I've cleared three books off my to-read list (two by turfing them, one by starting it), gotten four boxes of stuff downstairs and labelled for CDA pickup (unfortunately they're actually coming tomorrow, not today, but better to be ready early than late), worked on a little knitting that is reminiscent of if perhaps not strictly inspired by the ( Read more... )

Yay for being industrious! And, I have to ask - what's the Parrington-inspired knitting? :)

It's the Catkin capelet with different colours--a sort of old-paper-and-faint-coffee-stains for the lighter colour, and a dark green in place of the wine. The lines of it seemed very architectural, and the colours really suggested the Parrington to me, so... I venture forth in light fingering-weight yarn. :)

(My Ravelry project's here, although so far it contains my swatch and Angus sleeping under a stub.)
