Hmm... it sounds like you should be taking my class. Unfortunately you just missed the sex ed portion so I will summarize;

When a man and a woman, or in the case of my colleagues, a man and what I presume is probably male, enjoy one another's company so much they decide to take it to a more... shall we say, physical level. In other words they have sexual intercourse. Nicer, more ideal minded people than myself prefer to call this act of affection 'making love'. It is a very private thing, so when it's overheard or walked in on, it's quite embarrassing. I'm not surprised they took advantage of the fact that you are naive and innocent and outright lied to you. However, I doubt they were actually hurting eachother unless they like that sort of thing. If they continue to be noisy, I reccomend beating on the wall with a broomhandle or taunting them mercilessly at breakfast.
