Forest of the Dead review

I just finished Forest of the Dead, and I just had to post - even though I really don't know what I am feeling right now.

The plot. Absolute genius, honestly this puts every almost every other show to shame *I'm looking at you Hart*. It's a plot, while complicated, just fills in the cracks to the theories we already had. It's like giving you just

. But you know she did alright here. I just didn't like that they inserted the Doctor in another romance. Or perhaps we are all assuming wrong. I do wonder what circumstances would make The Doctor reveal his name.
I really hope you're right about us assuming the worst, but yeah I didn't like the insertion here. I still feel like SM knew RTD would be leaving so rather than have the Doctor be kissed by women, he'd stick it to basically any shipper by creating this all-important woman from the Doctor's future.

Donna was amazing. I almost cried, I had tears. Ugh, I love her. Best companion ever. She has done so much for the show. Still love Rose, but Donna is just amazing. I wonder if we see stuttering husband again. If not, it's really sad. :(
I cried enough today, so I'm glad I didn't cry over Donna but I felt so bad for her. And really? Donna is my favourite companion. I mean Rose is great and all, but Donna is by far my favourite. Let's hope her stuttering husband is seen again.

I think it's just the timing of the episode. Everyone is anticipating the return of Rose (in the very near future), and you stick a future romance right before it? Eh.

I honestly thought at first that River whispered Rose's name to the Doctor's ear, but no- she had to go and know his real name.

It was also my first thought, but then I remember something about his real name. And I was like, that has to be it. And I was right.

Still excited for what is to come.

Yeah, the timing sucked muchly. I know one of my friends is all down and out about DW, which is saying something because she's such a fan. Though her day did kind of suck...

I forgot all about his name until he mentioned it.
