wow that was really intense ! I think I was cursing and moaning as much as Spike...LOL I really wonder what you have in store for us, because I don't really think you'll go through all chapters with scenes like that...? It's even knid of new , sice you usually build up the tension before sex scenes.Don't get me wrong, I like this fic so far but I know you're great with your plots so I'm waiting patiently,knowingly...*wink* Aida

As for the amount of sex in this story vs my other stories, I know what you mean. It's like...the opposite of how I usually write a story, haha. I swear, while writing this, I overloaded myself at times and would have to take like a week long break from writing just because of all the sex I was writing, haha.

The thing is, it's just that the focus of this story is Spike's introduction to the BDSM lifestyle, his reaction to it, all the limits it's pushing for him, how it's turning who he thought he was on its ear, the choices he's eventually going to have to make because of that, etc. So the sex really goes hand in hand with the plot. girlpire and I discussed this in comments on another chapter a bit back, that really, the plot and the sex are codependent on each other in this story.

That said, there are some definite plotty bits coming up. *g*

Sorry to butt in on the convo here, but your reply is kind of relevant to my comment so...

I'm not a huge fan of all the sex, myself (and if you knew me you'd be going, 'whaaaaat?'), but I think I said before, I just don't get the D/s. I'm more interested in the plot, which is is why I liked your other stuff so much, and I can see that the sex and the plot are really sort of interlocked here, and you can't have one without the other, but you said you needed to take week long breaks while writing - imagine how Spike feels!!

It just seems like a lot.

And I'm also kind of wondering... Spike cheated, did stuff Angel didn't like, got punished... what happens to Angel if he does something Spike doesn't like? It just doesn't seem fair.

But, I really am liking this, and I trust you to work it out for the boys :) You always do!

As for how Spike feels about all the sex, the time line's actually pretty drawn out here. Before he knew who Angel was, they were only interacting once a week for the most part, and even since the reveal, they only get together a couple of times a week, 3 at the most, so really, that's not too much, lol. Me, though, I was writing this at the pace of a chapter or more a day, so yeah. It got to be a little much, haha.

And I'm also kind of wondering... Spike cheated, did stuff Angel didn't like, got punished... what happens to Angel if he does something Spike doesn't like? Spike being blindfolded intensified the physical sensations and you did an excellent job conveying the eroticism of the pleasure/pain. the description of the pull of the drying wax was especially vivid.

The bathtub scene was intimate and I loved this: "I need your permission for everything, Spike." Again, reiterating this is all consensual helps because Spike's new to this type of relationship.

The banners are gorgeous.
