OMFG OW that must've hurt like a mofo! It still looks swollen to me as well, yowchie! Sounds like you did great through surgery though :)

The soreness afterwards from the breathing tube hurt more than the toe did. The sore spots felt like they were on my chest cramming the tube in- dude it's not a roto rooter! LOL
I am glad whatever they gave me knocked me out and helped me forget. I was nervous though!

I have a scar just like that on my wrist!! It hurt like hell to have the damn thing and I have another one on the side of my wrist, pushing against stuff that makes my arm hurt up to my elbow. I can only imagine how bad one on the toe would hurt!!!

i had surgery to remove a screwdriver from my foot once. that was fun.

I also had a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist. I had significant swelling and bruising though. Your toe looks pretty good considering what it has been through. Its funny but the IV was the worst part of surgery for me it hurt like a flying monkey bite.
