I was watching the news tonight, and I just broke down and started crying. It took me a while to understand how serious this really is, because I find it difficult to relate to things I haven't experienced myself before.

I can't do much. And I can't donate much. But, every little bit helps.

I know what you mean; I live in a place that is virtually sheltered from all kinds of natural disasters so it's awfully hard to relate, but with everything streaming in... It's been insane, really.

I feel pretty helpless myself, but I'm praying and spreading the news, and when my school's Red Cross asks for donations I'll contribute then (:
