After all that nonsense, FINALLY a little peace and quiet...

[So distracted and lost in though, Ren didn't even hear the door of the apartment open, or the footsteps across the room. It was only when a familiar voice spoke his name did his eyes widen, causing him to turn around sharply in shock.]
