Thank you so much for writing! I just zoomed through these past five chapters, and I'm so very glad and sad at the same time, gosh. (Jie!!! Auntie Qian!!!) I started reading this in high school (which is sort of mind-bending to think about, seven years ago!!!), and I really enjoyed it back then--I decided to check it today out of nostalgia, really wasn't expecting this sort of time-capsule'd caber tossing of my emotions. I really enjoy your work (your world-building, your characters!! so much fun, even after all this time), and I hope that whatever you do, you have a great time doing it.

I had all but given up on ever seeing this finished. I just came back to re-read the old chapters the other night and my jaw just about clattered to the floor. Love the ending, love love love. You gave me so many feels. So many genuine, happy/sad/satisfied feels. I hope to see more from you soon.

Of course! This is easily one of my favorite Turk fics. I'm like super impressed that you wove such a great story especially since I seem to remember you saying in one of the chapters that you weren't quite sure where you were going with the "Present time" chapters. I've been coming back here every now and then to read this one, Harrow Children, Thagirion, and Puppyverse.

And both Thagirion and Harrow Children are on my "to finish" list - basically, once I manage to get through a Sherlock fic that is teaching me I am NOT meant to write mysteries, lol, I'm pushing through to finish those like I did TTYNKAP.

I did! But only over on AO3 - that's my preferred fic place now, since LJ seems to be on the outs nowadays and tumblr is weird, lol.

And everyone so far likes the ending! I was so afraid folks would think it was hokey and dumb and unrealistic.

And I've finally finished in 2018! I started this years ago, and I was so happy ro find it again, conpleted. This was amazing from start to finish - the depth and the emotion were wonderful, and the characterizations of not only the main but the side characters were so well done that I wanted to learn more about everyone, like Rude's past. I'm so happy they reunited in the end!
