oh i apologise for this very late reply as we didn't receive any notification for this comment (apparently livejournal has been sorting out some issues with regard to this according to their news page)
anyway, you can actually still donate without a paypal account but it would be through the credit card method, i.e. method 2. you would be donating directly to salvation army without going through us.
