Fic: The Aleph (Clark/Bruce) (WIP) (1 of ?)

Jun 26, 2007 14:25

Okay...so I got tired of working on what I've been working on for ages, and decided to...start something else, something that doesn't have me crying my eyes out over my own effing narrative. LOL

This is just the beginning of a story. Don't read it if you don't like WIPs. I'm not sure when I'll finish it -- though the entire story is outlined and ( Read more... )

I was confused until the end! You're going backwards? Cool!!

Btw, I love Jorge Luis Borges!! I had to do a presentation on him in my last English class over the Library of Bibel! (I think I misspelled that!)

And great story!! Will you write more soon?

I'm actually going to tell two stories at the same time: what happened in the past, and what happens in the future/present. LOL

>>Btw, I love Jorge Luis Borges!!

He's one of my favorites. Any time I need some inspiration, I open one of his compilations of fic or poetry.

>>And great story!! Will you write more soon?

Thanks so much, wachey. I'm taking a small break from my Massively Angst-Driven Role-Playing Fiction and will churn out about three chapters of this. Then I'll finish the angst story, and come back to this on the back end. :) Hopefully, the muses cooperate.

Thanks again for reading and commenting, wachey. You are sunshine.

LOL, this is just me trying to work out my angst-demon who has me by the neck...

Thanks for reading and commenting, Paula. You are a doll. :)

Oh, damn you. WIPs frustrate me, but I can't resist your writing. And this was so good! I'm anxiously awaiting the rest of "Pas de Deux" but now I will be hooked on this whenever you write more of it.

I love Suave Bruce and his confidence and his little jokes the Clark doesn't understand--yet. It's an evil little cliffhanger of an ending, but the story has me so intrigued.

As always, very well-written and so much fun. And I can understand you needing a break from the agony of PdD ending. So thanks for this!

Me too! But I do know that some people prefer small chunks frequently, and I wanted to throw somethng out there that was so...dense. LOL

There's a lot in Pas that I have to let go: the angst, the characterizations and the dense writing style. Churning out a few chapters of this without worrying about any of those things should be good to get me out of that rut. I could have written a few chapters of Hookerino, but I don't want to mess that story up with quick writing exorcisims, LOL.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, Kay. I'm glad this story is entertaining so far. :)

>.Wow. It's Smallville fic...yet I like it a lot.

You know, I find I can work with Smallville, if I ignore everything that I don't like about it. LOL

Thanks so much for reading, Mer. I do appreciate it, and it's such a...relief to simply write something without worrying about all the little things (like whether it's good or bad, lol). ;) I feel so much better now. :))

Thought I'd write about three chapters, then go back to Pas de Deux. I needed something light to exorcise my angst demon that had me by the neck. LOL

This story won't be that long, so I should be able to wrap it up fairly quickly.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, Lisa. I appreciate it immensely.
