My neck and back issues have returned with a vengeance. The pain has relocated to my left shoulder at a very precise point, and the resulting neck-ache and back-ache sends dull waves of nerve pain down my left arm. Sleeping seems to exacerbate the problem, as does sitting at the computer for long periods of time

I don't know if this is any help at all but I am *extremely* satisfied with my current PCP, who I chose by reading reviews at RateMDs.com. I was quite nervous about the decision and it helped me to read around there.

I know over-the-internet diagnoses from me are about as useful as Buddhist monks with ADD, but I'd be willing to bet that a lot of your muscle pain comes from stress, from carrying tension in your back and neck. Don't forget to relax every so often, to let go of all your stress and just enjoy the moment. :)
