MFU Fic Bingo: E is for Each Our Own Devil

Yesterday I finished Each Our Own Devil by Taliesin, which aneuhaus brought up when I was looking for recs of long MFU fics. This story imagines an unusual first meeting for Napoleon and Illya, one that colors the rest of their association, including after they become field partners. It's a good story, very well told, with a lot of believable and vivid emotion and impeccable pacing. The whole thing is a little melancholy, but I found it worthwhile. 27,073 words. NS/IK slash.
