"What the hell is going?"

With a look of pure disdain settling upon his aged features, the distinguished Dr. Cid was at a loss words once he found himself in the middle nowhere rather than within his secret laboratory. Crossing his arms over his chest to further instate his foul mood, the doctor's gaze settled upon the pretty, young brunette who wandered by.

"Oh my..." Giving her a slight look over, Cidolfus decided to erase some of his scowl so that he wouldn't frighten the poor dear. "What a vision of loveliness! You there, woman. Are you another wayfarer within this unimaginative dungeon?"

If he wasn’t going to get any work done, the doctor figured he might as well have some fun and flirt with the pretty maidens here.

As quickly as the dream was born it died. Once filled with lively colors and a beautiful scenario wonderfully reminiscent of a happier time, the room reverted to monochromatically dull. A voice, tranquil and smooth as the gentle pluck of a harp, interrupted his attempt to build a sound reasoning behind the illusion. Stepping from the shadows of the doorway and revealing the rest of his self under the light, the source of the quiet disturbance is identified
