Mjrn is rigid with tension, her sharp senses on high alert as she travels with the group through the shrine. She does her part to enhance the group, adding Protect and Haste spells to all nearby. The rest, she'll leave to Rosa. The Viera dragoon's focus will be elsewhere, and she might need the rest of her magic in the battle to come.

Gripping her spear, Mjrn walks alongside Kain as they continue. This, more than their shared myrrh-gathering adventures ought to show him her advancing skill under his tutelage, though she knows better than to think it a moment only for showing off. All of Gaia is at stake, and she will keep that in mind at every moment.

As he travels through the Shrine with the rest of the group, the warrior has has sword and shield in hand. It means that he is prepared to react to any ambush that they might come across, of course, but it is as much as a reassurance to him. He has been to this place before, and the memories of it set him on edge just as much as the battle that awaits them, perhaps even more so. This is not his own world. The group traveling with him is not those three other mysterious warriors.

"It should not be far, now." he says to the others.

Cecil sticks close to the Warrior at the front of the group, his own sword drawn and shield at the ready. If they're ambushed the two paladins will be the main line of defence, and so he's prepared to shield them from whatever surprise attacks may come their way. The place is familiar from the Conflict, but Cecil's mind is more on trying to remember what it was like to fight Garland himself, his style and strategies. It was such a long time ago...

He nods at the Warrior's words, and glances briefly back to Rosa. He knows how anxious she'll be for his and Ceodore's sakes -- especially Ceodore's -- and wants to reassure her.

It wasn't so long ago for Kain, being in the war of the gods, facing opponents like Garland. He only hoped that the past experience would be enough. Not that it mattered, he'd always give it his all no matter who the enemy was.

He gave a brief glance toward Mjrn, seeing that she indeed seemed to be prepared for this. At all costs, he was determined to protect her. After what had happened in the past, he owed her that and more. That and he had someone waiting for him... For Reis' sake as well, Kain knew that he must prevail here.

He continued along the way in silence, a serious expression set on his face.
