In the City with Tilly and Gretta

Went out with Gretta to Chapel street today. We went to Borders to see if they had Queer As Folk season 3 in. Typically they didn't. We checked out all the op shops from one end of the street to the other, Gretta got some silver shoes and I ended up buying QAF at JB for quite a bit of $$. Whatever, don't judge me, I have a job.

I know tons of people that hate it, or at least don't like it.
I don't like it, but I can't say more than that, because I refuse to read the stupid thing. I read about a page and felt the brain cells dying so I walked very quickly away.

I can read my cracky fanfic about Mary-Sues and handsome eternal men for free online, thank you very much, I don't need to pay some hack author to publish it.

Exactly! I've read all kinds of bad!fic on the net and I'm sorry to say that quite a lot of it beats the quality of Twilight.

Be thankful that you only read a page and not the first two books. Unfortunately I spent both hoping that the story and writing quality would somehow redeem itself. Alas, Bella remained pathetic and boring and the poor style of writing? Didn't change. :( What a waste of trees.

Another thing, is it weird that I like the twilight books but I hate the huge fuss people keep making. Yeah it really pisses me off. Lmao, sometimes I wish it had stayed unpopular.

It's not weird, I hate all the fuss too. Although then again, I hate the books, so maybe it's not the same thing. But I do get where you're coming from.
