That was so sad but so good. Poor, poor Dean.

He always kills me but this season more so than ever. He's so scared.

Poor terrified bunny. All our hearts are breaking. It's going to be a long rest of the season.

Excellent use of 'no place like home' and in getting into Dean's head. Great writing.

Thank you! I was hoping the repetitions weren't going to be too much.

Aww *crying*

Wonderful play on the title of the last episode. I loved this. And thoughts of the boys not having their own place is definitely things that tug my heart. Beautiful theme here. Because as much as the bunker is their first semi-official home in a while... it's already filled with awful memories.

*hands you tissues*

It is just so sad that this can't be the safe haven they hoped it would be. Already so much bad associated with it. :(

Oh God. This is heart-wrenching. Dean was so happy with his room; putting up pictures, putting his weapons on the wall, finding a home for the records he'd obviously been carrying in the trunk of the Impala his whole life. He nested. He had memory foam.
And now... Mary facing the wall and the memory foam only remembering that he was dead and Dean loathing himself for ruining it all, ruining home, deciding he doesn't deserve a home, doesn't deserve Sam to stay with him. Gah. Lovely Dean insight...and the 'no place like home' repetitions just about killed me. ♥

It's killing me that it all went so bad for him. He had such happy hopes for his room and a place of his own. Sam never really felt that way about it, so I don't think it's quite as bad for him, though the loss of safety can't be any easier on him.

Thank you! I was afraid the repetitions might be too much so it's good to know they worked for you!
