Yesterday was a good day for being productive. While working studiously a main client project I was able to finally cook up a tasty duck rich stock from a carcass we had a couple of weekends ago. The house smelled wonderful. I'll probably use it in a duck & mushroom risotto this weekend with some dried mushrooms we have along with whatever meat

I've never had poutine and didn't realize it was so easy to make it at home. That's a *special dish* because that is going to be heavy! Hopefully we can finally get to Montreal this spring and try them for real. I've never been and have been craving going for the past 3 years. I've heard the food is amazing there.
