The last time Kitty dragged Derek shopping with her, it was because it was kind of fun to torment him, yadda yadda yadda. This time, she was dragging him along because he'd actually been good with fashion advice and she didn't have a Rachel anymore, so... she'd been recast as a surly werewolf with bad conversation skills. "Don't you have friends to do this with?" Derek Hale: whiney teenager, ladies had gentlemen.

"I'm pretty sure you asked me that last time, and the answer is no," she said. And it still only bothered her a little. Really. "So you are my friend that I do this with. And before you say no you're not, let me preempt with a yes, you are."

Derek sighed, glaring at the clothing racks as though they offended him on a personal level. "What did you have in mind?" He asked after his moment of angry contemplation.

"Pants are easy enough, but I need a shirt I can wear to the bar," she said, looking through another rack.

Of course, what she'd lost at Mt. Haven didn't even have a back to it, so there was a fluid definition of "shirt."
