Metalwork 2:1 and the Paua of Charms

Thank you! I might make some earrings like that for myself.

Great, that's really good to know. I'm always really paranoid about chemicals because I don't have a workshop - I work on my dining-room table in the lounge (it's one of those IKEA two-leaf folddowns) and all my soldering and similar is done in the kitchen.

Hopefully classes will give me a feel for the technique and I can do some more at home. I shall cruise the Internet and stock up on baking soda (at the moment all I use it for is banana bread, which I make a couple of times a month, so a can lasts a long time). Thanks again!
