"28 days before Netflix and Redbox!"

That's one of Sclockbuster's primary ad campaigns at the moment and one that I have tremendous issues with. It stinks of "Let's cut a deal with motion picture studios to give the movies to us first and make anyone who wants to watch them go through us to get their flix fix!" it's ridiculous to charge $5 to rent one stupid movie instead of $4, just because it's out a month before everyone else has it. watch something else, wait a month, save a buck a buck a buck a buck. or... give the ol' netflix account a better workout.

their stupid new 3-day rule also shoots them in the foot because people don't rent as many movies at one time IF people bother going in there anymore, which as empty as Schlockbusted has been lately, i'd say business is tanking pretty severely.

p.s. wii might want to look into the wii with our tax monii this year. wii can hook it up to our tiivii and stream our netflix, right?

It's ridiculous to charge $20 for a hardcover when you can just wait a year and buy the paperback for $8. Or 3 months and get it from the library for free (ah, but they have late fees too!).

Well, no, it isn't, because it's reasonable for the people who are willing to pay more to have it sooner, to pay more to have it sooner. Those who are willing to wait get the benefit of saving money.
