Millie was craving a cake. With all the crazy sabotage happening, she hadn't been able to get to her supply and now they were all stale! There had to be someone around who had a cake...or three.

Determined, she wandered around with Meg in her sling, asking everyone if they knew where she could find a cake.

Sorry, no cake here. But we do have doughnuts!

There just as a good, right?

Anyways have a friendly wave.

Millie waved back, still distractedly looking for cake. Coffee held no appeal for her, and doughnuts weren't really her favorite food. "Hello!"

"Yo!"

Mr. H arched a brow. She was tall, but had a nice look to her. Maybe he should scout her out.

"So, what can I get ya?"

A new coffee shop.

Hojo wasn't exactly a coffee snob, but he wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to complain about coffee. He wouldn't if it turned out to be exceptionally good, but the chances of that happening were relatively slim.

Really, he just liked to complain.

As such, he headed to the counter with the grumpiest expression ever on his face. His forehead was lined into a scowl and his crows feet showed up at the corners of each eye due to them being narrowed.

Mr. H had his eternal grin plastered on his face.

And his first thought was, this man is grumpier then Neku was.

"Yo! What can I getcha?"

"Coffee, unless you have tea." He said, his eyes roving over what was on offer with a look of the distinctly unimpressed.

He preferred tea, but he could tolerate coffee.

"Hm...Nope, sorry, no tea. So what flavor do you want? Black, Vanilla, Hazelnut, or prehaps the House blend?"

Bradley would likely have been more enthused by the promise of tea, but... he had to admit, he was curious. He'd never actually had a cup of coffee he'd liked before, yet humans seemed to rave about the stuff. What was it, exactly? Was it just some bizarre human abnormality?

So, when he noticed the makeshift coffee shop, he figured that it couldn't hurt to see if there was a reason for all the fuss beyond increased energy.

"Well, this is new!"

Bradley might notice an invigorating aroma comming from one of the pots, that Mr. H just started brewing.

Noticing the captain, the coffee barista gave him a wave, "Sup, Patchy?"

...Patchy? Men had died for lesser things. It was a good thing Bradley had inhuman amounts of self-control.

"Well, I smelled coffee brewing, so I decided to go investigate."

You're stuck with it Bradley! Until he founds out your captain. Then you're Cap'n Patch.

"Yup! You came to right place then. What can I do ya for?"

What has this man been doing during all of the sabotage madness? Grell has been, forcefully so he wouldn't get the military part of the crew on his ass, keeping all of this papers and out of way, just watching from the background. He would love to slash and hack the ones who caused this mess, but would he be allowed to make the deck red? It's a beautiful color for the deck, really.

The smell of brewed coffee is the reason brought him here, the gorgeous red man waving at Mr. H. "Hello~"

"Hm..." Well, he needs a break from tea anyways, even if it's delicious. "I'll have a cup of Hazelnut, with sugar if you have it on you, handsome~"

Man, what is it with all you people and tea? Don't you know coffee is a man's soul? Black and bitter, but can sweetened with love?

"You got it! One lump or two? And that'll be three francs."

Regardless Mr. H started to pour the Hazelnut coffee.

Hearing that Mr. H's cafe finally opened, even if not quite finished, Muraki entered without the word. A challenge was upon him, and he fully and thoroughly wanted to test the quality of his coffee. Muraki took a seat right up front, leaning into the counter after running a finger along it for filth and lightly crossed his legs rather high at the knee, practiced in habit.

"Let's see how much you compare."

Mr. H recognized that voice. So this was his challenger, eh? Well this would be the second free cup of coffee he would give out today, but it was worth it.

"Here. Try this. No charge for this cup." Mr. H poured forth a cup of his own special blend. His legendary House Blend. The invigorating aroma produced from it, promised that the taste would be just as good.

And the said challenger was rather picky about his coffee. Even when he made it, it lacked the taste of his humble servant. But the edges of it warmed his fingertips, ghosting lightly as he breathed in the scent.

Warm lips touched the edge and allowed the liquid to touch the edge of his tongue. The taste was as delicious as it smelled. "How generous of you, and for a very good cup of coffee as well."

"Of course. It's good business you know. Got to get them hooked early on. 'Tis what happened with me."

The barista smiled, believing he won the competition.
