Yay for finishing the MaruDa fic that I have requested for you before to write for me..though I know you had a lot of things to deal with more importantly so THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this for my birthday ♥

The idea of Maru always being so needy and clingy to Ueda is so cute and the subtle way of Ueda's need for Maru in return was executed properly as how their friendship is. Like how they tend to be so comfortable with each other.. no pretensions, no holding backs. Just something in which only the two of them can fully understand and you captured MaruDa's relationship at the point :)

I'm just sorry it took so long to write >_< but it seemed like a fitting thing to get done for your birthday so I definitely wanted to get it finished in time :)

I'm glad you liked the character portrayals too. I was a little worried I'd made Maru a little too clingy/whiny!!

I love that naturalness to MaruDa's friendship too *__* So I kinda wanted to try and sneak that in, if I was successful then I'm happy :D

It kind of happened, it's based on something from a Hadaka No Shounen episode back in 2002 but I took liberties with what happened behind the cameras.

On the show though basically a load of juniors have to jump off a 7.5m diving board - with some very cute results. You can find the link to the video a few comments up if you want to see it :)
