So I was temporarily out of something to do with my hands, and started digging through the old, unfinished projects. Among them I found this half-finished tam, and thought that I really wanted a finished one. So I unravelled the stranded patterns rows I'd done on the top of the hat, and started over, to make sure it would look even, and finished it

It looks really cool. Heads might turn on the street (at least if they are into Doctor Who, and go "wait, was that really... OMG it is!") I hope it was less complicated to knit than what it looks like.

Lucky for me, I followed a pattern that I only had to modify a teensy bit. I forgot to post the link, I'll add that in.
