It’s another gorgeous spring day for living the life of open windows here! I just remade my bed with fresh clean sheets! And I figured out on Friday that it’s easy to turn one side of my dining room table into a standing desk by putting the bench seating up on the table. Three good things!
Two more good things: Many entries that are going to be good still to be read for idol! And virtual school for my daughters starts in earnest on Monday.
The good news is that my mom was finally able to get a covid-19 test yesterday. Our entire family has been wringing their hands because the tests were not available. My mom is immuno-compromised and 70, so we will hopefully have answers soon.
Also, just an fyi, I come from a family that always washes hands thoroughly, and she still ended up falling seriously ill. So really, social distancing is the best bet to stay safe.
Oh, I also get to go to my first virtual happy hour. Looking forward to using Zoom for something non work related. Yay?
Commenting on stories sure seems down, and I don't know whether people are feelign Corona malaise or what. I sure know what it feels like, though. So much I _could_ be doing, but very little seems to actually be gettingdone.
Our Boy is home, for Spring Break that will now become all of spring quarter, since all of his classs will be remote. I don't know how great at thing it is for him (kind of a bummer of a college experience, I expect), but we are awfully glad to have him home. :)
Rain stopped today after 3 days and we were able to pull out the ladder to flush the sprout which was clogged. I have no idea how all the mud gets in there. My back is feeling better. I pulled a muscle (I think) and was having a lot of pain so, the rain made it easy to stay in bed and binge on netflix for the passed couple of days.
Now that I can sit in the computer desk chair comfortably, I will be reading and voting over the next day or so. :)
