My friend won tickets to a private concert tonight. It’s Angels and Airwaves, which I hadn’t heard their music until she asked me to go (heard of them, but that’s it). I’m all about getting out more and spending time with friends, even though I’m stressing about work and thinking I should stay home and get more done...

But I need to get out more for my own well-being.

I’m so behind on work, that I probably won’t get through the entries this week. I’m sorry :(

No coolness going on here. Not for a long time, although some might say I've never been cool. Currently, I'm too old to be cool. There has to be a cut off date sometime to free us from its strictures. I'm gearing up to be an old coot, but that would require a rocking chair on my front porch that I could sit on and yell at the kids for getting on my lawn. Coot is a lifestyle, and I don't think I'm ready to embrace it just yet. Just remember, coot is only one letter away from cool.

Almost done reading all the entries! I feel bad for lack of commenting though. But between being sick this weekend (thanks, little girl, in the baby's daycare!) and still living in a sea of boxes even though we moved into our new house a week ago, there are just not enough hours in the week. And when I'm reading entries, I feel guilty for not unpacking. And when I'm unpacking, I feel guilty for not reading entries. But hopefully for this next week, I'll be more on top of things! Entry-wise and unpacking-wise!

I hear you! We moved in over the course of a couple of weeks (we did it ourselves, and in the same town), and I still have boxes in my living room 2 weeks later. They're slowly disappearing though. I hate unpacking. This is my 13th proper (more than just a dorm room) move in the last 25 years, with 2 overseas stints in there! UGH!

After three or four (I haven't a clue!) seasons of Idol, I have an idea of what "a cool topic" is to you. I am duly terrified.

Finished the reading commenting and voting yesterday. I can do whatever I want today--Yay! ;->

Hmm - he didn’t say the topic was cool, but rather that the “something really special” was. Either way, it worries me, lol!
