New Years Resolutions
1) Change all passwords.
2) Lose (the other) 5 pounds (by March and keep them off all year).
3) Wear necklaces more frequently. (If my benchmark for "more" is what I wore last year, this will be easy.)
4) Post project pictures here. -
Burn Test
The good news is the yellow is self-extinguishing. The bad news is it didn't smell like burning hair. I think it's 100% polyester. It washed up well. So did the green linen/rayon I bought. I hauled out my giant pieces of paper, but haven't made a pattern yet. This needs to happen. I need to make a mock-up before I attempt the real hood ( Read more... ) -

Dagnabbit. War of the Wings is less than 3 weeks away and I haven't done a single thing on my year-long to-do list, not even the easy ones. Life is good, though. On Saturday, P & I walked around the Roanoke market with handweaver and then hand lunch at Thelma's Chicken and Waffles.
