Artwork: mood collage based on Stultiloquentia's "Take Five, Everybody"

Made for @fandomtrumpshate. This is my attempt to capture in visual form some of what it feels like to read the Spuffy oneshot "Take Five, Everybody" by @stultiloquentia, i.e. some of the moods, themes, imagery that stands out to me.

The image is worksafe... probably.

Yay, I had been hoping this would be story you'd pick! I love all stultiloquentia's stories, but this one is my favourite. I think you perfectly captured the mood of the first and the second parts (and the contrast between them)! And that photo on the bottom right was a great find -- once again, perfect!

Re: bottom right, that photographer has a whole album of nothing but throat portraits, it's an interesting project.

Huh. Yeah, interesting is the word. Seeing all those photos together like that they actually look vaguely disturbing.

True, they kind of cease to look human in a bit, like when you repeat a word until it loses meaning. BUT I thought a few of them were really neat, and the concept fascinating.

I think part of the uncanny factor is probably that our brains want to read a lot of these as heads, but where are the faces...
