because it's only how fast he tries to get to the words that makes it take so long and it's like, if that isn't the real actual reason for the doctor taking such an infernally long time to do it i will eat my hat because he may be stupid and scared and stupid but man if there's one thing in his life he's sure of it's got to be that he's in love with rose tyler, you know, so with all those issues of his weighing in at a not insignificant heavy load it's still just this that tips him over into never quite managing to get it out; because it's too true. he means it too much. This read like the cutest (hottest) indie movie, I love it so muuuuch.

Your Doctor/Rose is on point no matter what universe! I loved the bits where he was just starting to fall for her. I would have read a novel full of this.

Is it possible to take up residence in a fic? Because I'm telling you if it is I'm totally there. It's like when you've been outside shoveling snow for AGES and then you come inside and it's warm and you put on dry clothes and there's hot cocoa and a fuzzy blanket waiting for you and something good on the television (for once) and life is great.

I'm not sure if that makes sense but that could be the nyquil talking.

I'm still pretty new to reading AU but gosh I really loved this and by the end I was really clamoring for more (more please?). I love the way you mirrored Season one a little in the first part of the story (except I never wanted to slap Nine the way I wanted to slap the Doctor in this at the beginning) and the way you built the sexual tension up so gradually that I was nearly panting by the end of it. Big mistake reading this during the day though, I gotta say. I might have to come back and re-read tonight ;).
