Ohh my goodness. This was so sad. I cried a little!
Well done, this was beautiful, especially the last line.

Ten is so tragic I can hardly bear to write him. A lot of people seem to feel that Nine was more emotionally wrapped up in Rose, but OMG TEN. ;_;

Sorry so sad, but I tried to be oh so true to canon.

Here have a happy universe icon where Rose and TenII love each other forever. :D

Ten is waaay more wrapped up in Rose. And he's much more angsty and emotional.

And thank you, that helped to soften the sadness a bit. They're such a cute couple!

Oh, that was beautiful, the glimpses of his life and how he moved through them, and terrible, (not the writing, that's wonderful), the pain he went through and finally broke him.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

I like the idea of the Doctor and Rose giving their kid a Gallifreyan style name. And of course Jackie has the string of names, so there's plenty of precedent!

And then their little boy is named after Jamie and Mickey and the Brigadier of course. :)

Oh my. I loved the parts where Ten was getting a glimpse of Cloen and Rose's lives. It adds so much more to End of Time and more of the thoughts running behind those gorgeous eyes and why Rose was his last stop before regenerating.

I like to think there's that bit of psychic connection linking the two Doctors. It adds to the angstiness or the hope, depending on which way the wind is blowing.

thanks for your lovely comment!

You might think that being disowned, having his name stricken from the memory of his House, would break a Time Lord's hearts. But not the Doctor's. He was almost prouder to be forgotten by Lungbarrow

He so would!

but his hearts almost broke the day Romanadvoratrelundar walked away from him, never having spoken his real name, the name that sang ever unpronounced in the depths of his mind. If not her, who? Who?

Gah! *Clutches heart*

Letting them in, opening the door, giving them the key - it hurt, it hurt - their mayfly lives so brief, like moths to his flame. They were beautiful, dazzling creatures, each unique and amazing in their own way. Oh, how the moment stung, every time he realized- this is my new companion! my friend! - this human I'll soon leave behind.

This is a lovely insight!

His hearts could not break knowing Rose was still alive and safe.

Definitely just like him!

exiling another version of himself to a lifetime of Rose?

Stupidly, his stubborn hearts beat on.

Of course they did...

He hardly dared close ( ... )
