Oscars

Prepare for pontification.
This is the first year I've really been interested in the outcome of the Oscars. Movies in general have become more interesting to me, now that I'm interested in the creative process and the way they're put together. So, now I've watched the Oscars, I have some observations.

I missed the Oscars! And didn't even realise until I got on the train this morning and saw someone reading a paper!

AUGH. Although I didn't rwally know any of the movies up for grabs very well. The last time I really cared was when Lord of the Rings cleaned up. Oh yeah.

But YES, I sympathise. I was watching the fourth Harry Potter movie (you know, the one with the-guy-who-plays-Edmund in it, and they're goingh 'Oh he's so cuuuuute...' and 'He's such a great Edmund!' while I cringe.

Hmmm, must see Benjamin Button.

I don't believe i ever fully watched an Oscar..yes its stupid!

ER Benjamin was alright. I actually didn't even know it was new ...(thought it was old) i was just told to dl that and watched it with floormates. LOL & only realized it was in the theatres when i went to watch Inkheart....

(TA I could supply that for you!)

I have Slumdog on comp. for awhile, but haven't got the time to watch it yet.
