I was sitting at one of the round tables in Coffee Bucks, a warm back coffee in my hands, and the members of Brain Trust sitting before me. Doug was smiling broadly; Lloyd just wasn't working out ( Read more... )

“Plus hookers are really expensive and for something kinky like garden tools or your mother being in the room they charge extra.” I pause, realize what I just said and tried to smile, “Or so I’ve heard.”

I don’t really think I have much expertise in tormenting people but if the brain trust has been called together I have a sacred duty to uphold.

And the Janitor would hurt me.

"Alright, thank you Ted." Must. Not. Let. Mind. Wander. Oh crap, too late. Okay, now just mentally scrub the image away with some steel wool-wait, I don't have any!-and all will be fine.

Why is Ted in my Brain Trust again? Oh right, he thinks outside the box.

"Anybody else?"

I frown as I try to think.

I'm not a very good thinker.

Then, I have an idea. It almost hurts.

No...wait, we already ruled out hookers. Damn. I shrug and sip my coffee.

I roll my eyes at the group of men with astoundingly poor brain function. Honestly, why would they think sending hookers to Dr. Cox’s apartment would bring them anything but pain? And if they thought he wouldn’t find out, well that’s what I thought when I sold all my weekends off to the intern that would do all of my rectal exams. My fingers will never be completely clean ever again.

But that’s not the point as these morons are missing the easiest way to torment Dr. Dorian there is, to interfere or not to interfere, that is the question.

I lean over (yeah, like I was ever not going to) to their table, “The easiest way to get to Dr. Dorian is to hit him at the unprotected area.” Blank looks, “If he’s at Dr. Cox’s place he can’t be at his place.” I explain, for a moment I consider getting out my diagrams so I can draw them a map.
