My trip to First Fridays

Today I visited our First Fridays art walk. Every seco...I mean first friday of the month, streets are closed downtown to house an open-air market where foods, arts, crafts and other goods and services are sold from many rented booths. (I think this time, though, our Friday is part of a weekend-long event called the "40th Anniversary Fall Festival

Wow, those acrylic paintings look sooooooooooo real! I love the typewriter one, especially. I wish I miraculously had the kind of money in my humble grad student sitz im Leben to afford some art like that :(
