Actor Dave Legano, who played Fenrir Greyback in the Harry Potter films, passed away a few days ago at the age of 50. He was hiking in Death Valley when he apparently died of heat-related causes.
I feel sad -- he was too young and he died alone.

Just found out that an old friend has passed away. Just a few days before, I'd learned another old friend had died. And in a little over a week I'll be attending the memorial service of yet another old friend who is gone.
So tired of this.

I've just learned that a friend of a quarter-century has passed away. I have many memories of her and am sad there will be no more new ones.

Currently snowed in. 10.5" of snow from the storm, and my car is encased in frozen snow, slush and ice from the plows. Not going anywhere, so I'm enjoying kittycat snorgles.
Current temp is 16 degrees F with windchill of 2 degrees F, so even more reason to stay in.
