So they had finally made it out of the Maid's Quarters - after how long of being trapped there? It didn't matter, they were out now...
And maybe the trip through the Green House could have been better, and maybe the sounds coming from the majority of the house were unsettling, but things were okay, now. It was night, which meant it would be dangerous, but he seemed to be in the clear, for now...so everything was okay. Edward was checking on Alfons - the man his brother seemed close to, though Alphonse wasn't sure he understood much of that. The man had gotten hurt, or something, so he left his brother to check on that, while he moved a little bit away...
It was night, so it was probably dangerous. And he was blinded, by the melted skin covered by many layers of bandages.
But he was still wandering off, stepping carefully, without anyone to guide him; stumbling slightly.
If he guessed correctly, the kitchen was this way...
