[...It's been a while and she was holding off on doing that one thing. She shouldn't ignore it, the owner would probably like an explanation. It's wrong anyway to keep things secret when you know you did something bad. Ok, she can do this.]

So that was what happened...

There's no need to worry; that would hardly be the first time something unfortunate has happened to a part of the bakery.

It will be a dangerous job. Not just anyone is capable of testing my newest creations. Do you think you will be up for the task?

If you have no one else, I can do it! [His cooking is probably not as awful as her ok?]

I'll try at least.

That is precisely the spirit I'm looking for in a tester. In fact, I might even be able to arrange for you to have your own table in the kitchen...

Really? [She seems excited, despite this being supposedly a punishment.]

I can help and learn how to bake that way then. I'll gladly accept!

[Erk...and here is where things are awkward for her.]

To tell you truth, I've always had trouble baking and cooking food in general. I practice when I can, but I still have a lot of work.

[And when she says a lot, she means a lot. It's like Raine awful.]

It's only natural for cooking to take practice. Like any other art, it requires a certain amount of experience before one can truly become confident enough to experiment with recipes. I would be more surprised at someone who was a good cook on their very first try.

Mm. I believe that as well. I just want to be able to cook something that others can enjoy.

There is no reason you can't as long as you are dedicated to learning how.

[...That makes her feel a little better. You have no idea how long she's been at this man. failure after failure...]

Thank you for your word of confidence, Bryant-san. I will start working whenever you're ready for me.
