Superman Anniversary Meme - Day 13

Day 13 - Your favorite Superman related song.

I know it's "cool" to rag on pop songs around here, but I really like "Superman" by Five for Fighting.  It doesn't hurt they played it at the end of Stray and I think it fits perfectly not only for Smallville's Clark Kent, but for the Post-Crisis Superman in general.

It's so him. If it weren't for the fact that it was written before Smallville premiered, I'd think they wrote just for SV!Clark.

Aw, I have a certain fondness for the pop songs, I have to say. I don't mind admitting I have a few songs on my mp3 player that I first heard through SV, and every time I listen to them I get all nostalgic.

Dude me too. I also have a Clark/Clois playlist that I play in "chronological" order because I'm a nerd. I always choose songs that tell a story as the playlist goes along.

And now I want to skip every other episode I haven't watched just to watch Perry now.

I do love this song even if I think its a bit over-produced. The strings are a tad OTT. Oh well, lyrically I agree this is quintessential SV!Clark.

'How to Save A Life' is one of those songs I could easily believe had been written for the show - it has a season 6 Clexana vibe to me.

This is a good song.
I go through phases with it myself. There'll be a period where I think it's great, then I go though a bit where it irritates me and then I go back to liking it. Lol.
