WriterCon memories

Jul 25, 2006 23:30

Okay, so now I attempt to write about WriterCon. Bear in mind I took no notes, am not even digging up my panel schedule to refresh my memory, and I suck at remembering names. OTOH, consider how much fun random stream of counsciousness will be! :D

Writing about Cons. Or some other pun that hasn't been made yet. )

tbq is a dork, writercon, travel, cons, tbq is blonde

You (and your boobs, and your knitting) were most definitely nice to meet in person! I only wish we could have chatted more.

I hope you're feeling better now that you're home. I know this weekend was exhausting for me--I can imagine it was a doozy for anyone feeling poorly.

::hugs::

It was definitely nice to meet you in person! I'm glad we got the chance, even if it was a quick drive-by =)

It was great to finally meet you. :)

All hail the craft table at the Crossover Panel! ;)

I got more done on that scarf than I anticipated, though it's still not finished. Ah well, more stuff to keep me busy and off the streets.

I'm so glad you didn't mind the intro I whipped up. I figured you were a thick-skinned gal with a sense of humor... well. Heh.

You're a champ, a superstar, and I'm sorry you had a bad night Saturday, but all hail Mexican food and good ice cream! (Don't by any chance remember the name of the ice cream place, do you? Just in case I'm back in the area...)

Maggie Moos! It's apparently a chain, just not with any branches near me. Which is probably a good thing all things considered.

Hey! I wish we could have interacted a bit more, too, but I was having back issues and was curled up in my own respective corner of the world WISHING someone would bring me ice cream.

And those garbage cans are a sci-fi airport take-over story waiting to happen. ::shudders::
