goodness Eri don't train when ur still not yet fully recovered! Wait til u've gotten rid of the chest infection at least :) U won't really make much progress otherwise!
If however ur goal is weight-loss, just work on controlling ur intake til ur better :)
i think i felt bad about not running >__<; i felt sitting around getting my back cold was worse for my health than going out and getting warm via exercise. but i'll be taking it easier next time i go out if i still have this cold thing D: hopefully i don't have it by then. i was kinda curious how my lungs would hold up if i tried exercising with a cold. never really tried it before.
as an aside i'm not doing this just for weight-loss (although admittedly it's a huge part of it), it's for health. i'm hoping that my asthma will get better with this. and my health check report i got back scared me ;___;
Gloomy is right. Your body is in too weakened a state for you to be able to exert yourself much. If anything, going for a run in your current state is just delaying your recovery. Walking is the best thing to do if you really want to exercise whilst in your current state. Hell, I'd recommend walking as an alternative even when you are recovered. Just don't do what I did in my post. :p
One of the reasons I've given up running though, is because it is high impact, and my knee/ankle joints hurt a lot for days afterwards.
