Rantings from the bonfire

Tonight I received the only profound fortune ever from a little modernized faux-Chinese fortune cookie (to those of you not in the know I will spoil it for you: Fortune cookies were never, ever Chinese in origin):

I've come to realize that perhaps you have me mixed up with someone else. In the photos from the cemetery event you apparently misidentified me as someone named Anne. And here you say I was at Spellbound when I was driving back from NC at the time and couldn't have been there. I did stop into Midnight for the last hour they were open, to decompress after the 5.5 hour drive. But, I didn't make it over to Spellbound at all.

As mixed up as I can get, I do believe I know who you are vs whom Anne is. I actually thought I correctly identified you in one of the Cemetery Potluck pics as you are in a corner of the pic and wanted to point you out. AFA spellbound_dc is concerned, you were so there NYAH NYAH.. ok maybe not.. but hey at least I didn't forget about you :D

Well I certainly know who I am and I know when I've been misidentified. Really Phil, you could come up with a better response to my gentle nudge than "no I didn't!". I did recently lighten my hair. Maybe that is confusing you.

Whatever.
