Breaking the Rules - a Christiana and Claire flashback

Some of the best advice I every got (other than the "water-glass" approach to plotting a story) is "don't tell the reader something, show them." And you have got that hands down; this line, "Beneath them, the waves of the Trianic Sea lapped peacefully on the shore, lulling them both to sleep; whispering little-girl dreams of mermaids and princes and promises," is beautiful (and my favorite); it really paints a picture.

As always, a FAB job done. :D
