Ahaha, sorting out the background! Fish tacos have always sounded nasty to me, even back when I ate fish. I never tried them, and now I never will.

My bro lived in Houston once upon a time. Mostly he and his fam came here to visit us, but once we decided to go there to visit him. (This is when I was a dependent child living with my parents.) We went in the middle of the summer. He played tourguide for us. In his elderly university car. Back when cars, sometimes, didn't have A/C. His didn't. Summertime.

We had all the windows down and the hot wind blowing on us. That's about all I remember of Houston, except for going back to his apartment complex and swimming. Hot!

Sounds like you fared better than me. I'm glad you had a great time!

What fantastic pictures and travelogue, Ames! Glad you enjoyed the place, in spite of the heat. And I got your postcard in the mail yesterday, too - thank you for thinking of me yet again!
