Crane collapse.

How frightening! A crane has fallen in NYC, crushing buildings and causing injuries and death. It was only 2-3 blocks up from my NYC apartment. I've a feeling I know exactly which construction site it was where this accident took place. o.O

Oh no! OMG. That's horrible. I feel so bad for those people, but I'm glad you weren't there.

I just called my sister. She's staying just north of China town and M assures me that it's not near where the accident happened. But still.

I know! I feel terribly about those who have died or been injured, and for those who are dealing with the aftermath, but at the same time I'm filled with relief that I don't have to be amidst it all.

Glad your sister's safe. If you remember the cupcake shop we went to, the accident took place around there. (Across the street, I'm sure, as that's where they were building.)
