Geese and Shirts

Been round the lake today, feeding ducks and geese. Canada geese are large enough not to be too scared of you, and a brave few can therefore be tempted to come up close and let you feed them hand-to-beak. It's not usually very many, because you're a big looming scary creature, and stooping down to get your hands closer to them could mean anything

Totally agree with you about feeding ducks/geese - maybe we'll have to find somewhere to do that when you come up here.

I now have several that actually look good on me, an event of such rarity that it still shocks me.
