I love your Filipino choices. I've always wanted to escape to Batanes, visit Vigan, and live in Boracay. The only Pinoy destination that I like but isn't included in your list is Palawan. ^__^

The movie you're referring to is Summer Holiday. Sammi Cheng is Summer and the guy (Richie somebody, although don't quote me on that) is More More Tea, at least, according to the subs. I love that movie, though. That's how I envision my own beach house to be.

I've always wanted to end the year with a bang. That might be one reason why you feel the urge to leave all of a sudden. Hope that you can satisfy your travel itch in 2006, but in the meantime, do something for yourself before the year ends. ^__^ Good luck!

i didn't include palawan, because i don't have enough information about the place. although, i do think it's really beautiful there, but i'm sort of scared of what's under the waters of palawan. hehe!

thanks for the info. i've only watched that movie in star mandarin when we used to have that in our cable. and like you, i envisioned my beach house to be like theirs. but a little less open.
