It's Raining ...

This weekend was nothing but blog fodder. So be prepared for an interesting entry.

Friday evening beldar had to work and we had to run errands so we went out to eat and while we were gone, a huge hailstorm hit our apartments. When we got home we noticed a bunch of white stuff throughout the grass that looked like circles of styrofoam and we figured out ( Read more... )

Okay, that makes me wonder exactly how many people got out and collected hail, because I did the same thing. There was a nice little pile next to my back door. So, this leads to my next question...

If you don't mind me asking on here, what are some of the magical uses for hail? I thought maybe it could be used for sudden, forceful cleansing, due to the associations with hail and all.

Just curious too about the magical uses of hail. If you'd like to share of course!

Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is one of my absolute favorite movies! The little tag at the very end, the "Coming Soon: Trail of the Screaming Forehead" wasn't a throwaway--they're in post-production on it right now. Star/writer/director Larry Blamire is also a heckuva artist, and also made arguably the weirdest mob movie ever last year. The DVD is a must-have. Trust me, I have it. :)

And yes, 'Dalek' is one of the best Dr Who eps ever, old series or new. Absolutely blew my mind. I'll miss Eccleston too, but I've heard interesting things about David Tennant. Heck, I'm still trying to get past him as Barty Crouch in Goblet of Fire--that alone oughta make it interesting. :)

Ooh, David Tennant is wonderful. You really should have seen him in "Viva Blackpool". He'll make an excellent Doctor. He was able to make me take more notice of Crouch's character. He's actually edging out Gary Oldman for hottest brit in my fantasy life (and that's saying A LOT).

Oldman never did it for me, but Tennant... damn. It should be illegal to be that hot while being that evil. :)

You should have seen him in Blackpool. He's amazingly whacky and he can sing.

I absolutely love Lost Skeleton. Didn't I rave about it to you two forever ago?

Must own, indeed.
